Gabriel SALGADO RODRIGUEZ

Gabriel has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. Born and raised in Venezuela, he shows broad knowledge and interest in international business and affairs with LATAM countries.

From 2010 until 2016, Gabriel has been in Charge of his family Five Star Hotel in Vigo, Spain, proving to be proficient in setting strategies, organizing, delegating and managing big teams in different areas of a company. During this same period, he established “Circus Events” in Madrid. A company whose core business is Event Management/organization and catering.

Today Gabriel is a Partner of Axperia Ventures in Spain, focusing in the development of the company in Spain and LATAM countries.

Due to his multicultural Background (Mexican father, Spanish Mother and Born in Venezuela), Gabriel likes to develop business strategies for enterprises that wish to establish themselves in Spain and LATAM, and shows passion for intercultural communications, Human Relations, and has been part of negotiations of important transactions between Chinese-African enterprises and strategic companies in Vigo, Spain.

Thanks to the network of contacts Gabriel has developed in Latin America and Spain, and to his personal family environment, he shows great interest towards sectors like energy, IPC, raw materials, politics and has a soft spot for inclusion in education.

At the young age of 23, Gabriel was already Managing “Gastronomia Gourmet” in Venezuela. A very important Event Planning Company in Caracas. And by the age of 27 he was already Assistant Director at Hotel Pazo Los Escudos *****, Hotel Spa and Resort in Vigo, Spain, which has given him the opportunity to organize events for important personalities and institutions such as the King and Queen of Spain, The Galician Business Chamber (Confederacion de Empresarios de Galicia) ambassadors, and other political institutions; showing a great deal of organizational capabilities.

He has a AOS Degree in Hospitality Management from The Culinary Institute of America in New York, an MIB degree (Master in International Business) from ABANCA Business School in Vigo, Spain, and a “Doing Business in China” diploma from the North China University of Technology in Beijing.

Gabriel strongly believes that in order for an opportunity to become a good and sustainable business, it must not only create wealth to its investors, but it is obliged to created richness wherever they are established, while being at the same time: Scientific, Mathematic and Pragmatic.
