Stephen is a specialist in generating and analyzing deal flow in the industrial space that increases the core value of a business. He is also skilled in the development of new products and services designed to drive profitable revenue growth. He has launched new ventures that grew from $50 – $500 million in sales and has leadership experience running two companies with direct P&L responsibility. One assignment was as President of a locomotive leasing joint venture with over $100 million assets that he founded with GE and major US Class I railroads. During that assignment, he arranged successful transactions in the US, Mexico, Canada, and Brazil. More recently successfully led the turnaround of both a heavy equipment manufacturing company and an agricultural parts company.

His business focus balances the interface between sales, finance and operations. He has successfully developed the teams to tactically execute operational plans. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the High Speed Ground Transportation Association and the Railway Supply Institute. He has also been frequent speaker at investment banking conferences covering capital equipment and transportation markets.

His experience include being the Managing Director of Performance Incarnate Consulting in General Management, Business Development & Operations; Managing Director, Sparex NA an Agricultural equipment (AGCO owned) company; President – of a privately held Industrial Manufacturing company; the President of Locomotive leasing company for the GE/NS/CSX joint venture; He was the Founder of a Web commerce start-up , Prudent Planet, and was the Marketing and Product Development officer for GE, Roadway and was head of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis for American President Lines, and the Industrial Indemnity Financial Corp.

He earned a Masters from Harvard University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a B.Sc from University of Massachusetts.
