Hugo TIAN
(B.Sc)Hugo has over 25 years of experience in international finance. In 2004 he was appointed as senior advisor to the Chinese-French negotiations on the TGV (French high speed train). He has also formally taught Chinese bankers about the French banking System.
Hugo has a passion on the French-Chinese relations and the business opportunities that can happen between both countries. As far as this is concerned, he is the founder and CEO of the “Centre Chine France (CCF)” in Paris. This Franco-Chinese business platform has as a main goal to represent the Chinese institutions and organizations in France and in the same logic, to assist French companies for their conquest of the Chinese market. Among the cases handled by CCF we include the French group “Vinci Environment” and the Chinese company “Wuhan Tourism Development & Investment “.
Hugo is bilingual and bicultural Sino-French, and he is the former Vice-President of the French Association of Hunan Entrepreneurs in China and has wide and strong relationships with local China governments, as well as the Chinese central government.
He is the founding President of “China Source Capital Investment” (CSCI) based in Hunan China, founded in 2012. He co-manages CSCI with its associated investors residing permanently in China, working on the Franco-Chinese projects in areas such as manufacturing and tourism.
In parallel to this activities, Hugo is an Associate Partner of Axperia Ventures, in their offices in Paris (France) and in Changsha (Hunan Province) in China.
He started his career in 1991 as a Manager in AGF where he was successfully in-charge of introducing this French insurance company in China with a result that led AXA to get it’s Chinese license. In 1998 he continued his career as a Senior Consultant, and then as Senior Manager within the Valoris and Sopra Group, working mainly for banks and financial institutions such as ABN-Amro, BNP Paribas, and Caisse d’Epargne. In 2011, he was appointed CEO of China Buyo Group, in particular, as Senior Advisor for the M&A project between EDF-UK and State Grid.
Hugo received a B.Sc from the “Ecole des Mines de Paris” and the Paris-Dauphine University in Applied Mathematics under the direction of Prof. Bernard Roy.
